Jude 1: 8-25

(Jude 1: 8-25) Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities. Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee. But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.  Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.  These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever. And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,  To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage. But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.  And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,  To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

Judas stresses that they should not be deceived by the heresies by giving examples of the strict judgments given to those who have not followed God's will and have been misled by false teachings. And he explains that the sins of false teachers are as foolish as the actions of the three men in the Pentateuch, Cain, Balaam, and Korah. Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core. Cain murdered his brother Abel with a stone. Likewise, Cain committed murder because Abel was different from his own. Balaam was a prophet who hindered Israel's journey. Gorado was the ones who hindered Moses' direction. So the ground split and fell into hellfire.

The commonality of those who appear here is that the end of those who oppose God is death and judgment. With this explanation, after making clear the warnings of sin against the false teachers and the resulting judgment, Judas exhorts and exhorts the Christian life. Its main content is to maintain a religious attitude that does not deviate from the traditional faith route. Judea gives guidance to sympathize with those who are exposed to the dangers of false teachers. But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

First, false teachers do not build themselves on a very holy faith. The most holy faith is not one that you believe, but one that comes from God. Galatians 3:23 says that if faith does not come from God, they are trapped under the law. Second, they do not pray with the Holy Spirit. They judge and interpret the Bible through experience, orbit, and misrepresent. They need to find answers in the Bible and be guided by the Holy Spirit, who do not. Third, they do not keep themselves in love. In other words, it is those who are not interested in saving the spirit and are stained by the relief faith that makes them do well in the world. Fourth, we do not wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to come to eternal life. These are those who judge themselves in the light of the Bible and try hard not to sin, and those who teach according to the law. The saints are those who died with Christ by the law. It becomes a sheep only when you throw away the thought that you can do something. In the parable of sheep and goats, goats are those who think they can do something.

Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, God protects the saints and allows them to stand flawlessly and joyfully in that glorious place. The saint must give his life to God. Only Jesus is the master of my life and the One who leads the way of truth.
